19. Conditions of transport, storage, and operation
19.1 Transport (with / without castors)

On a level surface, the 601 can be moved or transported using its optional
castors (see chapter 6.2
TRANSPORT
).
❖
You must not
use the optional castors of the 601 on uneven surfaces.
In this case, lift the 601 with one person at each corner of the base
only
when
transporting it (see chapter 6.2
TRANSPORT
).
❖
Never lift the 601 by the seat / lying surface or the armrests during transport;
otherwise you can seriously damage the 601.
❖
When transporting, bear in mind the total weight of the 601 which is approx.
120 kg, so that several people are required for transport.
❖
When transporting the 601, always consider its dimensions.
Narrow corridors, doors or stairs etc. may make transport difficult or
impossible.
❖
The bed can also be tilted 90° (sideways) so that it can be transported through
e.g. narrow door frames.
