Prior to commissioning
Ensure that the Wi-Fi smart video doorphone receives
a Wi-Fi signal in the intended position. Where
possible, we recommend that the supplied antenna is
installed indoors. If you wish to save recordings to the
Micro SD card (not included), insert a Micro SD card
into the slot provided before installation and before
initial commissioning of the device. If the SD card is
inserted while the device is operational, the SD card
will not be detected. In order to use the functions of
the smartphone app when you are not connected to
your home network, you will need a SIM card with a
data plan for a minimum of 3G Internet access and
have a minimum of a 3G data connection.

. When you open
the app, you will receive tips about the app. Click
“ OK” to allow the tips. If you click “CANCEL”, tips
will no longer be shown in future.

Connecting the device
Caution: Select a location for the device where you
definitely have wireless access to/reception for
your chosen wireless network. Insert a Micro SD
memory card into the memory card slot (optional).
Screw the supplied external antenna onto the
antenna connection. Connect the device to mains
power. Once the device is supplied with electricity,
an approx. 45-second start-up phase begins. The
device is not ready for operation during this time.
The device signals when it is ready for operation by
emitting a continuous beep.

Connecting the app software to the
router/registering the app
Verify that your smartphone is registered to your
home network and has reception. Before you can
configure the software, you must register or identify
yourself. When you start the software for the first
time, you will see the following screens (see a).
Select “By Email/ID” Enter a valid email address
and a password. Click
“Register” (see b). In the
next screen, select “ By Email” and click “Next”. In
the registration window, enter the previously stated
email address and enter your password twice.
Click “
Register”. The message “Registration
successful” is displayed, plus the ID number. You
are registered. If you have already registered but are
not logged in: In the “
Login” window, enter your email
address and password then click “ Login” (see c).
