Introduction
By purchasing this device you have chosen a high-
quality GEV product. Please read through these
operating instructions carefully in order to ensure that
the device functions correctly. Keep these instructions
in a safe place so that you can refer to them later if
necessary.
Safety instructions
This device may only be installed by a
technician in accordance with the applicable
regulations. The electrical power supply must
be switched off throughout the entire installation
process. The circuit breaker must always be switched
off. Work on the 230 V power system must be
performed by authorised personnel only. Before
beginning installation, check that the connecting
cable is de-energised. The warranty does not cover
damage resulting from failure to observe these
instructions under any circumstances. The device
must not be changed, modified or painted — doing
so will similarly void any warranty claims. Nor do we
accept liability for any indirect damage. Similarly,
we can accept no liability for any material damage
or bodily injury caused by mishandling or failure to
observe the safety instructions. In these cases, no
warranty claim may be made. In addition, for safety
and compliance reasons, you are not authorised to
dismantle and/or alter the Wi-Fi doorphone in any
way.
