Precautions
• Too frequent and consecutive measurements can lead to
disturbances in the blood circulation and cause injury.
• Do not wrap the cuff around an arm in which an arteriov-
enous shunt has been implanted or to which other medi-
cal devices are attached, as this could lead to temporary
functional failure of the medical devices being used.
• Avoid any kinking, crushing or constricting of the con-
necting tube of the cuff during use, as this could lead to
a continuous increase in the cuff pressure, resulting in
interruption of the blood flow and causing injury to the
patient.
• In order to avoid inaccurate measurements, do not ex-
pose the blood pressure monitor to strong electromag-
netic fields, stray radiation signals or rapid transient elec-
trical disturbances/burst transmissions.
• Important!
Do not use the cuff on damaged skin.
• Wireless communications devices such as WiFi, mobile
phones, cordless phones and their base units or walkie-
talkies, may impair the functioning of the blood pressure
monitor. Therefore, a minimum separation distance
should be maintained. Please refer to Table 4/9 in the
appendix.
• Please do not use this device if you are allergic to poly-
ester, nylon or synthetic materials.
• Do not wash the cuff in a machine! Wash only by hand!
• The service life of the cuff can vary according to the
frequency of washing, the condition of the skin and the
manner of storage. The typical service life is approxi-
mately 10,000 measurements.
