Important Firmware Update Notice

A new feature has been implemented in the firmware called System Maintenance
This function is designed to overcome common issues that affect DVB receivers
operated in a 24/7 environment: lip sync errors and receiver lock-up due to TS or
power related faults. System Maintenance function performs a daily 15 second
system reset at 02:00 am local time. The factory default setting for this function
has been set to ON.
To properly configure the System Maintenance function, install the receiver, tune
the desired channel, then select the Time / GMT offset: Menu >> Preferences
>> Time Setting. Be sure that the GMT Offset selection results in the display
of the correct 24 hour based time in the HOUR display. Every day at 2am the
receiver will momentarily display “Please stand by for one minute scheduled
system maintenance” then reset. Please note that this feature will only function
on transponders transmitting the DVB required TDT (Time and Date Table). If
the transponder does not transmit TDT, the System Maintenance function must
be disabled.
Disable the System Maintenance function by the following setting:
Menu >> Preferences >> System Options >> System Maintenance >> NO
