MAINTENANCE
1.2 - "Channel Test" Menu
This menu is used to test the global operation of the controller and tool.
There is a sequence of three tests:
- tool
-->
reading the information contained in the tool memory.
- transducer -->
measuring the AZC and unbalance.
- board
-->
servo board check.
If an error arises, a message is displayed. Press
W
to display a complementary error message
To test the rotation of the motor, select "Motor Test" and press
W
: the motor starts at low speed and low power (10 %) rightward
and then leftward. A check of the actual speed and current is performed and a test report is displayed on the last line:
V<<
means the actual speed is too low.
I>>
indicates that Imax has been exceeded.
1.3 - "Counters" Menu
This menu allows the maintenance technician to know the number of cycles run.
The "controller" counter shows the number of cycles run since the time of delivery.
The "Total" and "Partial" counters show the number of cycles run by the tool.
Validate the highligthted "Reset" function by pressing the
W
key to reset the partial counter of the tool.
2 - OTHER MAINTENANCE
OPERATIONS
2.1 - Resetting the controller
It may be useful to erase all the data stored in a controller when you want to shift to a new application.
The procedure is as follows:
• switch off the controller.
• press
W
and simultaneously switch the controller on.
• hold the key pressed down until the LEDs blink and the contrast adjustment is displayed.
• press either of the
S
/
T
keys to stop the automatic contrast adjustment
• adjust the contrast using the
S
/
T
keys
• press
O
to validate.
The controller has been reset.
2.2 - Backup battery for parameters and results
The backup battery is located on the microprocessor board. At the time of supply, the battery is connected.
It allows you to back up parameters and results in case of mains power failure. A maximum lifetime of 10 years is indicated in
the manufacturer's specifications. For safety purposes, it is recommended to change the battery every 5 years.
Located beside the memory battery, strap JP1 allows you to connect the battery or not.
