Introduction for GeneralTouch SAW Touch Screen
吉锐声波触摸屏介绍
We have three types of SAW touch screens, B-type, V-type and Zero-bezel touch screen. The type of the touch
screen can be easily recognized from its model name. For example, if the model name is
“SCTL4B**”, this “B”
means that the touch screen is B-type touch screen
; If the model name is “SCTL4V**”, this “V” means that the
touch screen is V-type touch screen; If the model name is
“SCTL4V**Z**”, this “Z” means the touch screen is
Zero-bezel touch screen. The type of the touch screen can also be recognized from the location of transducers:
The transducers of B-type touch screen are in the beveled corners at the front surface of the glass; The
transducers of V-type touch screen are on the front surface of the glass; The transducers of Zero-bezel touch
screen are on the back surface of the glass. Please refer to the pictures below which show the locations of
transducers for the three types of SAW touch screens.
