The Model S216A will dis play the Set
Point op tions (fig ure 22) un til a se lec tion
is made. When the de sired op tion ap pears
on the dis play, ap ply the mag net mo men -
tar ily to the GMI Logo on the cover of the
Model S216A. The op tions that are avail -
able for the Alarm Set Point will vary with
the de tec tion range of the Model S216A (0
to 100ppm, 0 to 50ppm or 0 to 20ppm) and
the Warn Set Point. Units with a 0 to
100ppm de tec tion range can have an
Alarm Set Point be tween the Warn Set
Point and 95 in in cre ments of 5. Units
with a 0 to 50ppm de tec tion range can
have an Alarm Set Point be tween the Warn
Set Point and 45 in in cre ments of 5. Units
with a 0 to 20ppm de tec tion range can
have an Alarm Set Point be tween the Warn
Set Point and 18 in in cre ments of 2.
If the de sired Warn set point is higher than
the cur rent Alarm set point, it will be nec -
es sary to set the Alarm set point then re-
enter the Setup Mode to set the Warn set
point.
After the relay options have been selected, the
unit will revert to the Calibration Mode and
the unit must be calibrated. If the unit is not
calibrated the relay option selections will not
be valid. If the Relay Options Mode, or the
immediately following Calibration Mode, are
aborted, the Model S216A will use the
previous calibration values and relay option
selections.
The factory settings for the relay options are:

Warn & Alarm : De-Energized
l
Warn : Non-Latching / Alarm : Latching
l
Set Points - Warn : 30* / Alarm : 60*
*
these set points are for 0 to 100ppm range sensors
Figure 23 shows the sequence of the Relay
Options Mode.
