Realtime use of the Genesys xp

NAVIGATION ENTER MENU

EXIT MENU

The display shows the sounds selection screen. For example, 
you could select a pad sound in the current RHODES preset.

Press the function button F4 to select the Syn-
pad family

Press the button 2 to recall the sound WARMPAD

6

Press ESCAPE to return in the keyboard parts page

7

Press the function button G to enable the part

8

Playing along the keyboard the RHODES sound is now layered 
with a WARM PAD sound.

Section Edit

The section edit hosts the menu to edit all the preset parameters. Let’s start from PRESET menu. To visualize in the display the 
relative page press the PRESET button on the panel.

Press ENTER to enter in the edit parts menu

As you can see, the Edit Parts menu is the same as at page 28 
in the song edit chapter of this manual. Genesys Xp includes the 
same parameters in the parts assigned to the player/sequencer 
and those assigned to MIDI realtime control. Please refer to 
that section for a complete description.
