INTELLIGENT LEARNING
SYSTEM
The built-in intelligent learning mode provides
a variety of ways to help you learn new songs. It
smartly tailors the lessons for you and tracks your
progress.
Press the [INTELLIGENT LEARNING] button to enter
the Intelligent Learning mode. The display will
firstly show the current song name and number,
then display the lesson name before the lesson
starts.
The lesson difficulty/grade symbol will also be
shown, as detailed in the table.
PERIOD AND PHRASE
The fastest way to learn a new song is to divide the
song into several parts, and individually practice
each part. When you have a good grasp of each
part, it will be much easier to then learn the
complete song.
A musical phrase is a section of music that has
a complete musical sense of its own. Just like a
complete sentence in an article.
A musical period is a group of phrases. This can be
any number of phrases, but most commonly will be
a combination of two or four phrases.
Please refer to the relationship of song, period and
phrase on the diagram to the right.
In order to help you learn songs faster and more
easily, there are 8 pre-set lessons for each song,
which encompass: step learning of pitch, timing,
left-hand technique, right-hand technique, period
and phrase.
The contents of each lesson are shown in the
following table:
