PIANO KEY MAP
This key map diagram shows how the different key
sections are arranged in the piano mode.
CHORD PART:
Keys C2-B3. The chord played will be shown on the
display.
SUB AREA:
Keys C4-B5. Pressing a key in this zone
will start a “broken chord” (the notes in a chord
played successively, rather than simultaneously).
RHYTHM AREA:
Keys C6-C7. This zone allows you
to play various rhythm styles. Keys A6-C7 will play
rhythm endings.
To exit the performance assistant mode, press
either the [VOICE] or [STYLE] buttons. Alternatively,
hold down [SHIFT] and then press the [PERFORM]
button.
DSP
The DSP (digital signal processing) effect adds
ambience and depth to the sounds of the
keyboard.
Hold down [SHIFT] and then press the [DSP] button
to turn the effect on or off. This function is turned
on by default.
Reverb and Chorus effects can also be added,
accessed through the function menu.
SELECTING REVERB AND CHORUS TYPES
Press the [FUNCTION] button to select the reverb
or chorus type menus as required. Use the data
dial or the [-/NO] and [+/YES] buttons to select the
various reverb or chorus types.
Pressing the [-/NO] and [+/YES] buttons
simultaneously will revert to the default types
(“RevHall 1” reverb and “Gm Chr2” chorus).
ADJUSTING REVERB AND CHORUS LEVELS
Press the [FUNCTION] button repeatedly to select
the reverb or chorus volume menus as required.
Use the data dial or the [-/NO] and [+/YES] buttons
to adjust the reverb or chorus levels, ranging from
0-127.
Pressing the [-/NO] and [+/YES] buttons
simultaneously will revert to the default effects
levels (chorus: 0, reverb: 70).
