Displaying and Configuring Data

Transferring a File from a PC to the PM880 (cont.)

Open the Send menu in the QuickBeam window, enter the

Files

or

Files on Clipboard

option, scroll to the desired file,

and click

Send

.

QuickBeam opens a window indicating that it is downloading the
file. When the download is complete, the meter returns to the
Drive Manager. If you close and reopen the Drive Manager, the
file appears as one of the listed sites.

For Windows 95/98/2000:

Click on the

Infrared

icon in the System Tray of your PC,

as shown in Figure 5-15 below.
