stored and displayed on the collector is a function of the software running on the collector.
There are many freely available software products to manage this task.
4.3.2.1 Syslog: Global Settings
This screen enables you to enable syslog functionality.

This screen enables you to specify the IP addresses of up to five syslog collectors.

Indicates whether or not events should be sent as Syslog
messages. The available values are:
• Enabled – Send a syslog message for each event.
• Disabled – Do not send syslog messages (default).
