At the Access Point Unit...
a. If the Access Point unit is the

rst unit you are installing, send
a
PING
command to it through the
LAN
port. This veri
fi
es basic
LAN
connectivity.
b. Connect to the radio’s management system via Telnet and
check for the list of connected Remotes.
c. Check the
Starting Information
screen for the
Device Status
. It
will show one of the following:
Operational
—
The unit is operating normally.
Alarmed
—An alarm event has been logged and not cleared.
At Remote Units...
a. Look for the
LINK
LED to light and remain on. This indicates
the unit has successfully associated with the Access Point.
(Association may take several seconds.)
