CAUSE OF STATUS INDICATION
-66
The field current exceeds the current limit of
the field transistor.
This status code will be displayed when the
field transistor exceeds its current limit. The
line contactor will drop out and accelerator
must be recycled to restart the control.

Line contactor opens
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Shorted field F1 to F2
·
F1 or F2 terminals shorted to battery positive
(B+) or to battery negative (B-)
Binding line contactor
·
Visually inspect tips, clean them with a solvent.
·
Confirm that contactor includes G248 coil.
Defective FU1 fuse.
Verify the control software revision is NS1C or
later.
Contact OEM regarding upgrade of contactor coil
Noise
·
Missing or damaged horn suppressor
·
Confirm that all inductive loads/accessories are
suppressed.

transistor exceeds its specific current limit. The
control is reset by recycling the accelerator.
