4.8.2. Warning Buzzer 

 
Buzzer on/off toggle switch is located to the right of the eSATA connection. It can be accessed by 
using a pen or similar shaped object and turning off the buzzer. 

WARNING: 

This is not a reset switch for the buzzer. Once the button is toggled 

to the “off” position, the 

buzzer will remain silent if any other hard disk fails. Please remember to toggle the switch on after replacing

4.8.3. Hard Drive Failure 

 

When a hard disk is showing an error, the hard disk must be removed. 
 
When a replacement hard disk is inserted into the bay, it will be added into the RAID array 
immediately; the RAID array will start rebuilding process automatically.  
 

Note: the Hard disk must be a fresh drive. DO NOT pull from another PSD-3000-P.
