Flap Glue #1 Sensor Adjustment

D.2b

Standard Folds

IMPORTANT:
When running the M-40 at throughput speeds up to 25,000 sheets/hour,
position the Flap 1 Glue Sensor as close to the Buckle Plate Stop as possible
by moving the sensor bracket assembly to the ends of the adjustment s lots.

When running the M-40 at throughout speeds of 26,000 sheets/hour or more,
position the Flap 1 Glue Sensor as far away from the Buckle Plate Stop as
possible by moving the sensor bracket assembly to the opposite ends of the
adjustment slots.

The optional Accordian or Statement Fold runs at speeds less than 25,000
sheets/hour and has a different assembly set up and is adjusted differently.
See Operation Section B. (Flap Glue Setup on page 11)
