Digital Feeder Operation and Maintenance  Manual

4.8  Connections

Connections will consist of power, encoder, air,

conveyor drive cable,  placement of the metal balls and
connecting air to the optional GBC Digital Cutter.

Inspect all cables and hoses for damage before

connecting them. Any damage cable or hose should be
replaced immediately.

Power

The feeders plug requires a grounded three prong

receptacle. This unit operates on standard 110 VAC.

a) Connect the power cord from the electrical box

of the feeder to its proper receptacle.

a) Connect the conveyor drive cable from the

feeders electrical box to the conveyors drive
box. Refer to Figure 4.8.1 and Figure 4.8.2
