5.3.3 High Voltage Enable
The ST1C can be enabled or inhibited using the 9-pin connector as follows:

acceptor. If this is left floating, it may disable
acceptor, based on the state of the 120VAC Hot
Enable line.

110 VAC Neutral Enable.
Connect to 120 VAC Neutral to enable acceptor.
Leave floating to disable acceptor.

110 VAC Hot Enable.
Connect to 120 VAC Hot to enable acceptor.
Leave floating to disable acceptor.
Note:
You should connect only one of these three pins.
