Setup 2 Page: Nearest Airport Criteria
Setting the minimum runway length and
runway surface:
1) Select ‘Nearest Airport Criteria’ from the
Setup 2 Page, using the steps described at the
beginning of this section.
2) The flashing cursor highlights the runway
surface field (Figure 8-76). Turn the small
right
knob to select the desired surface. The
following options are available:
• Any surface
• Hard surfaces only
• Hard or Soft surfaces
• Water landings only

3) Press the
ENT
Key to accept the runway surface
selection.
4) The flashing cursor moves to the minimum
runway length field (Figure 8-77). To enter
a different minimum runway length, use the
small and large
right
knobs to enter the
desired length. Press the
ENT
Key when
finished.

Setup 2 Page: Data Field Configuration
Configuring the Data Fields:
1) Select ‘Data Field Configuration’ from the
Setup 2 Page, using the steps described at the
beginning of this section. The flashing cursor
highlights the upper data field (Figure 8-78).
Turn the large
right
knob to highlight the data
field (upper, middle, or lower data field) to be
configured.

2) Turn the small
right
knob to select the desired
data type (Figure 8-79). The available data
options are listed in Table 8-4.
