View the SUMMARY field and ensure that all items are ‘complete’:

De-activate the cursor. 

14.

 

Cycle power to the PFD and MFD to reboot the system. 

15.

 

Verify that the MAP – TERRAIN PROXIMITY page on the MFD has been renamed as the MAP – 
TAWS page. 

 

NOTE

Due to time required for the GIA to exit configuration mode, power must be cycled to the PFD 
and MFD following the first bootup in normal mode (after exiting configuration mode).  Failure 
to do so may result in an erroneous ‘TAWS FAIL’ message.   

 

16.

 

Cycle power again to the PFD and MFD to reboot the system.   

17.

 

Verify the unit successfully passes TAWS self test.
