6. Using the 2 x toolfree blower lock knobs (23),
screw one into each side of the discharge
port to secure the blower tubes into place.
Finger tighten the toolfree lock knobs until
secure (Fig E).
Check the intake cover. For using the blower
vac as a blower, the vac tubes should not be
fitted, but the intake cover MUST be closed
and secured with the supplied green tool free
vacuum lock knob (24). (Fig F)
The blower vac is now ready for use as a
blower.
Note.
The vac tubes and the collection bag
are not required for the blower operation.
Setting up for use as a Vac
Assembly of the vac tubes
1. Align the lower vac tube (10) and the vac tube nozzle (12) and
slide the vac tube inside the vac tube nozzle (12) until it will
enter no more. (Fig G)
2. Rotate the two tubes and lock them together. (Fig H)
3. Fix the two tubes together with the supplied assembly screws
using a Phillips head screw driver (not
supplied). (Fig I)
Fitting the Vac Tube to the Blower Vac Housing
1. Loosen and remove the toolfree vacuum lock
knob (24) on the intake cover (9).
2. Open the intake cover (9) and insert the vac
tube so it fits inside the round entry of the
vac housing. It is important to locate the
square tab of the lower vac tube (10) under
and into the locating keyway as the vac tube
is fitted. (Fig K/L)
3. Secure the tube by screwing in the toolfree
vacuum lock knob (24), previously removed
from the inlet cover (9). Finger tighten the
toolfree vacuum lock knob (24) until secure.
