2.2.1- RECIPIENTS (AUTHORISED OPERATORS)
This technical manual has been exclusively written for operators authorised to use and service the
machine according to the specific technical and professional skills required for these operations. The
symbols shown below are placed at the beginning of each chapter and/or paragraph and indicate which
operator is involved in the relative issue.
AUTHORISED OPERATORS MAY ONLY CARRY OUT THE WORK ON THE MACHINE
THEY ARE SPECIFICALLY COMPETENT FOR.
BEFORE WORKING ON THE MACHINE, AUTHORISED OPERATORS MUST BE IN
FULL POSSESSION OF THEIR PSYCHO-PHYSICAL FACULTIES IN ORDER TO
CONSTANTLY ENSURE CONDITIONS OF SAFETY.
AUTHORISED OPERATORS MAY NOT WEAR CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES THAT
MAY GET CAUGHT UP IN THE MACHINE:
LOOSE CLOTHING, TIES, BELTS , NECKLACES, BRACELETS, WATCHES,
EARRINGS, RINGS, ETC. LONG HAIR MUST BE TIED UP.
OPERATOR
This person is aged 18 or over, is professionally trained according to legislation in force in the
country of use, and is only authorised to turn on, use, adjust (with the guards enabled and the
machine off) and turn off the machine in total observance of the instructions contained in this manual,
wearing the personal protective equipment indicated in para 6.4 and occupying the positions described
in para 7.1.
AUTHORISED LIFTING OPERATOR
This person is aged 18 or over, is professionally trained according to legislation in force in the
country of use, and is authorised to drive forklift trucks, bridge cranes or cranes in order to
safely lift and transport the machine or equipment using the hand signals indicated in European
Directive 92/58/EEC (see para 10.2), wearing the personal protective equipment indicated in para 6.4
and occupying the positions described in para 7.1.
MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE MAN
This person is a qualified technician, authorised to exclusively work on mechanical organs in
order to make adjustments, maintenance and/or repairs, also with the safety guards disabled
(after obtaining permission from the safety manager) in total observance of the instructions indicated in
this manual or another specific document exclusively provided by the manufacturer, wearing the
personal protective equipment indicated in para 6.4 and occupying the positions described in para 7.1.
