7.4 Drawer unit of workbenches (WIP locking)
(Article Nos. 93 3810, 93 3820 and 93 3900) WIP locking
Before beginning the conversion, please remove the top
drawers in order to gain access to the locking mechanism.
Step 1:
Lever the panel out of the bar using a
screwdriver. The clamps on the panel will break off in the process.
Step 2:
Pull the panel forwards off the bar. You will pull the horizontal locking rod out
at the same time. Disconnect the locking rod from the panel (open the nuts).
Step 3:
Screw the right end of the locking rod to the bracket on the rear side of the
electronic lock unit. Insert the locking rod through the installation aperture
back into the housing.
Step 4:
Insert the locking rod into the white mount at the rear of the housing.
Step 5.1:
Push the lock unit to the left into the installation aperture.
Step 5.2:
Press the lock body to the right straight into the bar. The small lug on the
right in the bar cut-out is fed in this way into the rear groove of the lock
body.
Step 5.3:
Move the handle in the direction of insertion in the installation aperture
until it locks into place (type of bayonet lock).
Your electronic lock unit is now ready for use.
