Composing an SDS text message from a template

An SDS text message is a text message that you can compose individually. In prac-
tice, similar information is often transmitted repeatedly. For this reason, your radio set 
is programmed with pre-defined, frequently used text blocks. These text messages 
can be transmitted directly, but you can also modify and supplement them before 
sending them.

Prerequisite:

The display shows the idle display.

Perform the following steps:
