Manufacturer self-diagnostics test
Tap the
[MAKER MAINTENANCE]
key and enter the specific secret
number to go to the
[SET UP MODE (MAKER MAINTENANCE)]
screen.Manufacturer self-diagnostics test can be selected in this screen.
Manufacturer self-diagnostics tests are mainly conducted by manufacturer's
maintenance staff. The following manufacturer self-diagnostics tests are
available.

•
SERIAL TEST
•
CF CARD TEST
•
LAN TEST
•
MEMORY TEST
•
RECORDER TEST
•
TOUCH PANEL CALIBRATION
•
INTERNAL MEMORY INITIALIZE
•
SOFTWARE UPDATA
ON/OFF of the hard copy function is permitted when the
[MAKER
MAINTENANCE]
key is tapped and a specific secret number that is
different from that for manufacturer self-diagnostics test is identically
entered in the
[SET UP MODE (MAINTENANCE)] screen.
Secret number entering procedure is shown below.
1. Tap the [MAKER MAINTENANCE] key on the [SET UP MODE
(MAINTENANCE)] screen to go to the [MAINTENANCE (PASSWORD)]
screen.
2. By tapping the [MENU] key, the screen returns to the [SET UP MODE
(MAINTENANCE)] screen.
3. By tapping the [EXIT] key, the screen returns to the inspection screen set in
advance.
