Close the ADF.

Press down on the center of the ADF to return it to its original position 
until the ADF clicks into place.

Make sure that the ADF is completely closed. Feeding 
errors may occur if the ADF is not closed completely.

•

When scanning is canceled halfway through, some 
sheets of the document might remain inside the ADF 
even though no error message is displayed. Follow the 
procedure (Steps 1 to 4) above to remove the sheets 
remaining in the ADF.
