Using the Dual Image Stabilizer
function when taking pictures
Camera shake and blurring (of moving subject) can be
reduced by the optical image stabilizer function and a high
sensitivity setting. Both camera shake and blurring are
reduced when

is selected for the shooting mode.
Only camera shake will be reduced when any other
shooting mode is selected.
Available Shooting modes: All

Press

) to activate Dual IS (image stabilization)
mode. Press

) again to set Dual IS mode OFF.
CAUTION
Camera shake and blurring may remain depending on
scenes.
MEMO About the preview display of [
DUAL IS
MODE]
• While pressing

displayed as previews to show how [
DUAL IS
MODE] works. The
icon appears blue during the
preview.
• The preview can be displayed for a maximum of 30
seconds.
