• E-mail address is specified as the Speed Dial number for the

forwarding destination or the number has been changed to e-mail
address, in Administrator Transfer settings. Administrator Transfer
feature is compatible only with fax sending. Set a fax number for the
forwarding destination.

• The content of the Speed Dial number set for the fax sending

destination has been changed from fax number to e-mail address, or
the content of the Speed Dial number set for the e-mail destination
has been changed from e-mail address to fax number. Check the
content and specify the destination that corresponds to the type of
sending.

• The characters you entered (* and #) are not supported for pulse

dialing. Check that the line type is set to PB in Local Terminal
Information, or that the fax numbers registered for speed dialing do
not contain any of these characters.

• Check that the destination registered in the Fax Program actually

exists.

a remote machine, the document to be polled is not ready on their
machine. Ask the other party to set the document for polling.
