3.4  Menu AUTO SCANNING

This menu can be use to scan all UHF signal received in the selected inputs
and  automatically  assigned  filters  of  the  channels  founds.  If  the  same  UHF
channel is detected in several inputs only will be assigned the filter to input
with the best level detected. All filters assigned to one input will be removed
in the scanning process and only add the filters of the channels found.

The auto scanning could be not found the signals depending of the level. Consider the following case:

1.  If the signal is between 54 dBµV and 110 dBµV, the signal must be found by the auto scan.
2.  If  the  signal  is  between  51  dBµV  to  53  dBµV  could  be  detect  or  not  depending  the  levels  of  adjacent

channels.

3.  If the signal is lower or equal than 50 dBµV is very low and never found.

If the digital signals are low but have enough quality use a preamplifier to get
a correct level in the input of the amplifier.

Press OK, to enter in the menu “AUTO SCANNING”. Use the buttons ◄ ► of

the keyboard and select

“+”

to add the input in the auto scanning. If select

“-”

the input will be not included in the scan. Press Ok to confirm the selection.

Repeat the process with the other inputs. If the input 4 (BIII-UHF4) is configured in DAB mode will be not showing
in the menu.

After confirm the las input with OK, the next step is select the limit of the UHF band to scan in the option LTE/5G
filter. The options available are:

1.

694 MHz:

Search the channels between C21 and C48.

2.

790 MHz:

Search the channels between C21 and C60.

3.

Off:

Search the channels between C21 and C69.

Use the buttons ◄ ► of the keyboard to select  and press Ok to confirm and
start  the  auto  scanning.  The  time  depend  of  the  number  of  input  and

When the auto scanning finish appear the number of UHF channels detected.

Press

ESC
