3.4 Menu AUTO SCANNING
This menu can be use to scan all UHF signal received in the selected inputs
and automatically assigned filters of the channels founds. If the same UHF
channel is detected in several inputs only will be assigned the filter to input
with the best level detected. All filters assigned to one input will be removed
in the scanning process and only add the filters of the channels found.
The auto scanning could be not found the signals depending of the level. Consider the following case:
1. If the signal is between 54 dBµV and 110 dBµV, the signal must be found by the auto scan.
2. If the signal is between 51 dBµV to 53 dBµV could be detect or not depending the levels of adjacent
channels.
3. If the signal is lower or equal than 50 dBµV is very low and never found.
If the digital signals are low but have enough quality use a preamplifier to get
a correct level in the input of the amplifier.
Press OK, to enter in the menu “AUTO SCANNING”. Use the buttons ◄ ► of
the keyboard and select
“+”
to add the input in the auto scanning. If select
“-”
the input will be not included in the scan. Press Ok to confirm the selection.
Repeat the process with the other inputs. If the input 4 (BIII-UHF4) is configured in DAB mode will be not showing
in the menu.
After confirm the las input with OK, the next step is select the limit of the UHF band to scan in the option LTE/5G
filter. The options available are:
1.
694 MHz:
Search the channels between C21 and C48.
2.
790 MHz:
Search the channels between C21 and C60.
3.
Off:
Search the channels between C21 and C69.
Use the buttons ◄ ► of the keyboard to select and press Ok to confirm and
start the auto scanning. The time depend of the number of input and
channels to scan.
When the auto scanning finish appear the number of UHF channels detected.
Press
ESC
to return to the main menu.
3.5 Menu UHF1
Allow add, delete or edit configuration of the assigned filter of the
UHF1
input.
To enter in the menu press OK.
a) Add a new channel.
To add a new channel select with the buttons ◄ ► until show the
message in the screen “Adding channel”. Press "OK and will be add and
edit the filter.
