Screen to add or edit a filter
The next screen permits add and edit the parameter of the filter and show information of the level. If not
appear the screen to edit means all the filters are used.
1) Input
: Show the input where the filter is associated.
2) Input level:
The value of the level of the channel detected in the input. Remember the value of level
detected could be a little different than your field strength meter. If the level is lower than 50 dBµV, the
value showing in the display will be “
Low Lev”.
In the next line
you can see and edit the next
parameters:
3) Input channel:
Use the buttons ◄ ► to select the input channel.
If in the position of the name of the current input, in the example
“
UHF1
”, appear the message “
Error
”, means the input channel is
assigned by other filter. In this case need select another input
channel. Press
Ok
to confirm the input channel.
4) Output channel:
The programmable amplifier has an option to change the output channel of each
filter. Use this option if sort channels or to left free part of the band for other channels. Remark only
can change the output frequency but keep the rest of parameter of the signal. For example the
bandwidth will be the same after change the output channel. If use one input can amplifier BIII and
UHF channel avoid it is possible move channel with bandwidth 8 MHz to one channel with 7 MHz of
bandwidth. For example, the channel UHF has a bandwidth of 8 MHz and the BIII have a bandwidth
of 7 MHz. If move the channel from UHF to VHF band remember the output channel use part of the
bandwidth of the adjacent channels in VHF band. For that, is recommended move channels in the
same band.
Note: The input BIII-UHF4 can amplifier channels in BIII and UHF.
When the output channel is blinking, use the ◄ ► to select the new output channel and press OK to
confirm.
5) Output level.
The output level of the channel can be adjusting from 100 dBµV to 120 dBµV. The
maximum value (120 dBµV) can be limited by the value Level in the Out menu.
When the output level parameter is blinking use the buttons ◄ ► to change the value level of the
channel of this filter. Press the button OK to confirm.
b) Editing a filter.
Select the filter to edit using the buttons ◄ ► and press the button OK. To select the parameter to modify
press OK until the parameter is blinking. Use the buttons ◄ ► to select the new value and confirm with
the button OK. Repeat these operations with the other parameter to update. The edit mode finish when all
parameter will be confirmed with OK.
c) Deleting a filter from an input
Select the filter to delete usign the button ◄ ►. Press and hold 5
second the button OK. When the operation finish appears the
message “Channel deleted”. Press OK to continue.
Press
ESC
to return to the main menu.
3.6 Menu UHF2
Allow add, delete and edit the filter assigned to the input
UHF2
. Follow the
steps in the point Menu UHF1 to do the adjustment.
