Error message
Description
Remedy
Could not open - File
too large
In this case the stored file may
have the right name, but may be
incompatible with OCS409. Load
process is terminated.
» Be sure that the file on the
USB stick stored is compatible
with OCS409.
» Open the HEX file with the
configuration tool (if it is a chan-
nel list) and check if it has the
right content. Store the file again
on the USB flash drive and retry
the programming.
Data error - file may
be damaged
The file seems to be compatible
with OCS409 but it is wrong.
This can be caused by creating
the file with an incompatible con-
figuration tool, the file was edited
manually and therefore it was de-
stroyed or the file has other bit
errors.
» Open the HEX file with the
configuration tool (if it is a chan-
nel list) and check if it has the
right content. Store the file again
on the USB flash drive and retry
the programming.
Programming Error -
using defaults
During storing the program up-
date or channel list an error is oc-
curred.
Stored data are not the same as
read data. In case of retries no
consistence could be reached.
» Reset device by unplugging the
power cord for a couple of se-
conds. Retry the programming.
» If multiple retries fail, please
contact the technical hotline.
