Configuring a FRITZ!Powerline Password
Overview
Set up a FRITZ!Powerline password so that FRITZ!Powerline is
protected even when there is no connection to the home network of
your FRITZ!Box.
Rules for Passwords
Comply with the following rules for setting passwords:

Select a password with at least twelve characters, which includes
capitals and lower-case letters as well as numerals and special
characters.
Characters allowed
Illegal characters

Letters from a to z in lower
case and upper case

The letter ß
•
Umlauts ä, ö, ü in upper
and lower case
•
Numerals 0 to 9
•
Spaces
•
Special characters: _ - ! " # $
% & ’ ( ) * + , . / : ; < = > ? @ [ \
] ^ ‘ { | } ~

Configure the “Forgot password” push service. When you have
forgotten a password, FRITZ!Powerline sends an access link to
the email address you specified. Using this link you can set a new
password.
If you lose your FRITZ!Powerline password and did not configure the
“Forgot password” push service, you will have to restore the factory
settings to FRITZ!Powerline.
