Selecting the WiFi Channel
Overview
In the default setting FRITZ!Powerline checks your wireless environ
ment and automatically selects the optimum WiFi channel settings. In
some cases it may be necessary to adjust these WiFi channel settings.
Automatic Configuration of the Wireless Channel Settings by the FRITZ!Box
With the “Set WiFi channel settings automatically” (auto channel)
setting, the FRITZ!Powerline automatically searches for a channel
subject to the least interference. This process takes into consideration
adjacent wireless networks and other sources of interference (for
instance baby monitors, microwave ovens). Should problems with
interference in the wireless LAN persist despite this setting, try to
identify the source of interference and eliminate it.
Instructions: Adjusting the WiFi Channel Settings

Open the user interface.

Select “Wireless / Radio/Wi-Fi Channel”.
