Connects Network Devices with the Home Network and Internet
FRITZ!Powerline connects computers, smartphones, game consoles,
smart TV and other network devices with the home network and
internet connection of your FRITZ!Box (or another router).
Connection options for network devices:

Wireless LAN (up to 866 Mbit/s in the 5-GHz and up to 400 Mbit/s
in the 2.4-GHz band)
•
LAN cable (1 gigabit Ethernet port)
Expands the Wireless Network of the FRITZ!Box via Electrical Wiring
FRITZ!Powerline connects attached devices with the home network
and internet via electrical wiring (powerline). Via powerline, data
transmission is possible even where the wireless LAN of the
FRITZ!Box cannot be received, for instance, over greater distances and
through multiple walls or ceilings.
Mesh WiFi
FRITZ! devices distributed throughout the home work together in a
single network with the same name and network key. The devices
communicate with each other to optimize all wireless connections.
Expands the Wireless Network also as a Wireless Repeater or via LAN Cable
You can also use FRITZ!Powerline without the powerline function and
configure it as a wireless repeater, or connect it to the FRITZ!Box with
a LAN cable.
Secure Powerline Connections
Powerline connections are secured ex works with encryption and an
individual network password.
