Connecting Computers and Other Devices
Overview
Network-compatible devices can be connected with FRITZ!Powerline
by LAN cable or wirelessly. Wireless connections are established with
WPS or by entering the network key (wireless LAN password).
Network-compatible devices include computers, tablets, smartphones,
smart TVs, printers, network storage, IP telephones and LAN
hubs/switches.
Instructions: Connecting a Device with a LAN Cable
1.
Insert a LAN cable into a LAN socket on the device to be
connected.
2.
Insert the free end of the cable into the LAN socket on
FRITZ!Powerline.
Instructions: Establishing a Wireless LAN Connection Using WPS
WPS is a method for establishing safe wireless connections at the
touch of a button. Your wireless device must support WPS.
1.
On FRITZ!Powerline: Press the “Connect” button briefly.
All LEDs flash.
2.
Start the WPS on the wireless device, either by pushing a button
or in the wireless LAN software.
The wireless LAN connection will be established.

Start the wireless LAN software on the wireless device.
2.
Search for wireless networks in the vicinity.
