5.3 Charging Using the Standard Charger Connected to the Charging Socket

If the need arises, the Power Pack may be re-charged using the standard charger and connecting it to the
charging socket on the Manual Controller holder. This is designed ONLY for indoor use and should never
be used to charge the Robomow while still docked in the Docking Station.

When the charging plug is disconnected from the Manual Controller holder, the following message will be
displayed on the LCD screen. See Figure 5.3. Press any button on the Manual Controller and the main
screen, 'Manual – User Options’ display will appear on the LCD.

Connect the charger to a regular household receptacle, 120 Volts AC

(models outside the US utilize 230

volts mains power)

and the output lead of the charger, Figure 5.5, into the charging socket, located under

the Manual Controller holder, Figure 5.6, and the charging process will begin. Lightly pivot the Manual
Controller down, allowing it to rest gently on the charging cord. DO NOT attempt to force the Manual
Controller all the way to the flush position. The Robomow charger is designed for indoor dry use only. Do
not charge the Robomow where wet contact is likely.

The LCD on the Manual Controller will display the text seen in Figure 5.7 and the battery icon will
continually move from empty to full to show the charging. Once the battery is fully charged, the message
