with a Smoke Alarm and SA3,
SA4 or SA5 type alarm system.

6 ) Insert the two coin cell batteries
into the interface under the
battery clip ensuring that the

terminals face upwards.
The indicator LED will illuminate
for approximately 1 s.
Testing the Interface Module:
7 ) Place the alarm system Control
Panel into Test Mode and select
Walk Test or Detector Test as
appropriate to your s ystem
(refer to the Testing section of
your alarm Installation and
Operating Manual).
8 ) Press the TAMPER switch on
the Interface Module

The indicator LED will illuminate for
approx 1 s to show a signal has
been transmitted.

The Control Panel should beep
and indicate a TAMPER signal
on the LEDs or Display.
If the Control Panel does not
respond correctly remove the
batteries and recheck steps 2 to
10 before proceeding.
