2.4. Microprocessor

The mainboard is designed to operate with the following processors:

An onboard switching voltage regulator provides the required 1.05 to
1.825 volts for the processor. The processor sends five VID (Voltage
Identification) signals to the switching voltage regulator. The switch-ing
regulator generates the correct voltage for the processor.
