1.7.  Connectors

Connectors

FA N2

CPU/Chipset FAN C o nn e ctor: This 3-pin  header  is  use

for connecting a CPU chipset fan.

FA N3

System Fan Conn ector: This 3-pin header is for

connecting the case fan that keeps the system cool.

1394 Conn ector:  This  6-pin  header  is  used  for

connecting a 1394 devices.

JP6

COM2 Serial Po rt Conn ector: T his 10-pin header ar

used to connect a serial port extension bracket for  addin
a second serial port to your system.

Digital Video Ou tput Port:  This 26-pin header is used for

connecting  an  Video port for  use of  Video  devices.

FLP1

F lopp y  Po rt  C onn ector: This 34-pin header is used for

connecting an Floppy port for use of Floppy devices.

JP12

CNR   Exp an sion   Con nector: This 20-pin header is used

for  connecting to Communication/Netw ork  Riser  Card.

J16

Infrared (IR) Conn ector: This  5-pin  header  is  used  t

connect an infrared (IR) port for use of I R devices.

J17

Front USB  Con necto rs: This 10-pin header is used for

connecting front panel USB ports  3 and  4.

IC H2 GPIO  Pin Conn ector: This  3-pin  header  is  used  for

connecting IC H2 GPIO  pin 12 and 28.

IC H2 GPIO  Pin Conn ector: This  3-pin  header  is  used  for

connecting IC H2 GPIO  pin 24 and 27.

JP9

CD-IN C onn ect or: This  4-pin  headers  is  used  for

connecting the CD  RO M audio input to the sound card.

LINE-OUT Conn ector: This 5-pin header is used for

connecting the stereo headphones or to amplified

speaker.

MIC   & LINE-IN Conn ector:  This 5-pin header is used for

connecting the  stereo  microphone and stereo  line-level

input on the front panel.
