Module Problems

If a module in the instruments stops responding, an error message will appear.

In most cases a shutdown and a restart are required.

6.2

Communication Errors

Communication between EyeFoss and the PC is done via Local Area Network
(LAN) connection. The status of the connection is visible in the notification area of
the lower right corner of the PC-screen.

Check that a network cable is
connected between the units and that
the EyeFoss is switched on.

The PC is trying to establish contact
with the EyeFoss (this may take a
couple of minutes).

Communication is established and OK
between the EyeFoss and the PC.

(The “warning” just informs that there
is no connection to Internet via this
LAN-connection.)
