NEVER IGNORE ALARMS ON SAFETY DEVICES. IF AN ALARM SOUNDS,
GET EVERYONE OUT OF YOUR AVIATOR IMMEDIATELY.
• The carbon monoxide detector is designed to detect carbon monoxide from any source of
combustion. It is NOT designed to detect smoke, fire or any other gases.
• This detector doesn’t work without batteries--DO NOT remove batteries except for replacement.
• Test alarm each week while your Aviator is in use and before beginning a trip. Press the ‘TEST’ button.
If the alarm fails to sound, replace the unit immediately. DO NOT attempt to repair.
• This detector senses propane gas in the air, not smoke or fire or other gases. It detects the
presence of propane gas only at the sensor, explosive gas may be present in other areas.
• Test your LP detector weekly. If the alarm is located behind a closed door, it may not be heard.
• DO NOT attempt to repair the detector. If it fails the test, change batteries, if it still does not function
properly, replace the entire unit.
‘WARNING’ INDICATES A HAZARDOUS SITUATION WHICH, IF NOT AVOIDED, COULD
RESULT IN DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY.
