TEP 

 

A.

 

Remove new cable from the 
replacement kit.  

B.

 

Align the new cable to Sensor as shown, 
making sure that the Sensor keying 
feature connects to the corresponding 
key in the cable assembly.  

C.

 

When properly aligned, the cable fits the 
back of the Sensor evenly and the metal 
area on the Sensor is completely 
covered by the cable. 

D.

 

Holding the cable to the Sensor, insert 
one of the screws into its hole. 

E.

 

Using the screwdriver, tighten the first 
screw just until you feel some 
resistance. Repeat this action for the 
second screw. 

F.

 

Returning to the first screw, fully 
tighten it; then, fully tighten the second 
screw 

IMPORTANT! Make sure that both 
screws are securely tightened before 
continuing.

TEP 

 

A.

 

Using tweezers, remove a gel disk from 
its paper backing and place it over one 
of the screws you just tightened. Make 
sure that the gel material completely 
covers the screw.  

B.

 

Remove another gel disk and repeat this 
action for the second screw.
