The currently selected aspect ratio is highlighted. Turn the knob to highlight the desired aspect ratio (4:3, 16:9, or
Custom to specify a custom aspect ratio value) and press SEL. Press ESC to cancel any changes and return to the
previous menu. The system status display contains the state of the currently selected aspect ratio. As the knob is
turned, the output aspect ratio is updated and the effects can be seen.
Selecting Custom displays the following menu to control custom aspect ratio selections:
Turning the knob changes the displayed aspect ratio number as well as the screen image. When done, press SEL to
save the value or ESC to cancel any changes and return to the Aspect Ratio Menu. A scroll bar on the right side of
the display indicates the relative position of the currently selected aspect ratio in relation to the setting range
available.
Flicker Filter
Selecting the flicker filter control by highlighting FlickerFlt and pressing SEL displays a menu similar to the following.
Turn the control knob to see the effects of the currently named setting on the output NTSC/PAL video monitor. Press
SEL to keep the current filter setting or press ESC to cancel any changes and return to the Picture Adjust menu. A
scroll bar on the right of the VFD display indicates the relative position of the current filter in relation to the number of
available settings. The flicker filter is recommended when converting images in “windowed” environments or where
single pixel lines or wire frame images are prevalent.
