Diagnostic stages

High gearmotor amps – Stage 1

The

HI AMPS error and TIME DELAY LEDs are on indicating that the control board has sensed an over-torque

condition at the P4 terminal (more than 3A from the gearmotor) or no current draw (0A) and shut the ice machine

down (strike one) . The

HI AMPS and TIME DELAY LEDs will remain on for 60 minutes after an over-torque

condition has occurred . The ice machine will remain off as long as these two LEDs are on . After the 60 minute time

delay, these LED lights turn off, and the control board will try to go through a normal start-up sequence .
