Today, strict requirements apply to water mixers in public facilities that are used by
many people, such as bathrooms and toilets in commercial premises, hospitals and
swimming pools. In addition, because traditional maintenance is partly based on manu-
al inspections, it can be inefficient. For instance, faults are sometimes not detected and
rectified in time, which can result in extra costs and negative customer experience.
Our cloud service Tronic WMS is a tool that gives you full control over your facility. The
data gained from the mixers can be used to optimise water and energy consumption,
improve maintenance planning and optimise building design. The initiative is an exam-
ple of how digitalisation can contribute to smarter and more sustainable societies.
With a few simple clicks, you can adjust the settings and apply them immediately to mixers
and showers. The online platform is easy to access via a computer, tablet or mobile phone.
There’s no need to install software on your own servers, which makes the startup process
quicker and saves the costs of investing in hardware, storage, installation and maintenance.
All the data is stored in the cloud, making your work significantly more efficient.
The cloud service also ensures that you always have access to the
latest version. Upgrades and new functionality are installed without
costly and time-consuming upgrade projects.
Stable and reliable mobile connection
Tronic WMS is a solution specially developed for business clients that
need to monitor, read or control their units via a stable, operationally
reliable mobile connection. All you need to do is connect your units
(electronic mixers or showers), to our gateway. And with its sturdy,
industrial-grade design with CE certification and integrated firewall,
the unit is well protected both from inside and outside threats.
System description
The Tronic WMS system communicates wirelessly via radio and mo-
bile networks. All the mixers are installed in exactly the same way as
our ordinary mixers. After connecting it to the mains voltage/battery,
the mixer is ready for use. Data is transmitted from the mixer via the
868 MHz frequency band. All our products are tested and certified
for this frequency band. We assess that there is minimal risk of inter-
ference from other technical equipment.
Tronic Gateway is a wireless connection point between the mixer and
the Water Management System (WMS). It should be installed in a suit-
able place in the building (see gateway instructions). The SIM card for
communicating with the mobile network is inserted in the gateway.
