WIRED LAN CONFIGURATION
A Videomesh network is completely compatible with any TCP/IP wired network.
However, the wired LAN connected to the Videomesh gateways need to be
properly configured in order use the Videomesh Routers.
In order to address the Videomesh Routers and the cameras attached to them,
you need to configure the LAN in such a way that every packet for the following
classes of addresses is routed to one of the available Videomesh Gateways.
Classes of address that need to be routed through a Videomesh Gateway:
IP 5.0.0.0
NETMASK 255.0.0.0
IP 1.0.0.0
NETMASK 255.0.0.0
IP 2.0.0.0
NETMASK 255.0.0.0
In case you do not have access to the LAN configuration, contact the local
network administrator to add static routes towards the Videomesh Gateway for
the appropriate classes of addressees.
