5 Mounting Instructions
5.1 Installation of the Fan
The fan is secured to a base by bolts in
mounting holes across anti-vibration
mountings. The base must be level and
stable. The fan must only be mounted
in a horizontal plane. Either the fan or
the base is mounted on anti-vibration
mountings.
Residual risk due to inappropriate
behaviour or malfunction during
operation cannot be completely
excluded. The system planner or
constructor must prevent the
emergence of any hazardous situations
through suitable safety measures.
5.2 Fitting the Accessories
The fan should normally be connected
to the air handling unit by means of
flexible connection or other type of
gasket to eliminate vibration transfer
from fan to AHU casing.
Providing necessary grounding for the
accessories is within the constructor’s
field of responsibility.
Inlet protective screen can be fitted
directly to the front frame or outside
AHU to the inlet opening.
5.3 Safety Regulations
The fan does not meet the provisions of
CE labelling (i.e. it has an impeller
without guard). The fan must be
installed in accordance with EN
292/294, as well as the required
structural protective measures against
explosion in accordance with the
N 107-2:2003(E) draft standard.
5.4 Electrical Connections
All electrical connections must be wired
by authorised personnel only. The
necessary electrical and safety
precautions must be taken into account.
If the motor is operated across a
frequency converter, the connections
must be made according to the
instructions of the frequency converter
manufacturer. The motor must be
grounded.
5 Montage/Installation
5.1 Montage des Ventilators
Der Ventilator wird mit Bolzen befestigt. Der
Boden muß stabil und eben sein. Der
Ventilator darf nur mit horizontale Welle
eingebaut werden. Entweder der Ventilator
oder der Boden muß schwingungsisoliert
sein.
Restrisiko auf Grund von Bestriebstörungen
können nicht völlig ausgeschlossen werden.
Der Planer oder der Hersteller muß geeignete
Schutzmaßnahmen auslegen um Auftreten
der explosionsgefährliche Situationen
zuvermeiden.
5.2 Montage des Zubehörs
Der ventilator wird normalerweise mit einem
flexiblem Tuchstutzen im Klima-Lüftungsgerät
eingebaut um Schwingungsübergang vom
Ventilator an Gerätegehäuse zuvermeiden.
Erdung vom Ventilator bzw. Zubehör ist in
Verantwortung des Geräteherstellers.
Saugseitiger Schutzgitter kann direkt an
Stirnrahmen des Ventilators oder an
Stirnwand des Gerätes eingebaut werden.
5.3 Sicherheit
Der Ventilator erfüllt die Anforderungen für
CE-Zeichen nicht (keinen Berührungsschutz
für das Laufrad). Notwendige
Schutzmaßnahmen gemäß EN 292/294
sowie Entwurfstandard N 107-2:2003(E) –
strukturelle Schutzmaßnahmen gegen
Explosion – müssen getroffen werden.
5.4 Elektrischer Ans
chluß
Elektrischer Anschluß nur von ausgebildetem
Fachpersonal vornehmen lassen. Sämtliche
Sicherheitsvorschriften sind zu beachten.
Falls der Motor mit Frequenzumrichter
betrieben wird, sind elektrische Anschlüsse
gemaß Anleitung der Frequenzumrichter-
Herstellers durchzuführen. Der Motor muß mit
Erdungsleiter ausgestattet werden.
