Prior to first use
Prior to first use rinse the pot thoroughly and further clean it in boiling water with a dash of lemon juice. This
removes any polishing dust or small impurities and cleans the cookware prior to first use.
Important tips for use
• The handles can become hot depending on the use of the cookware. We recommend the use of a hand guard
especially when the cookware is used on a gas stove or in an oven.
• Never heat your pot empty or with oil on high heat for longer than 2 minutes. Overheating may cause the
bottom of the pot to turn a golden colour. This discolouration does not affect its performance. Overheating
can also occur when the liquid in the pot evaporates completely.
• Extreme overheating may cause the aluminium in the bottom to melt and liquefy. In case of overheating never
remove the pot from the burner otherwise you might be burned by leaking hot aluminium. Switch off the
burner and allow the pot to cool, air the room.
•
Induction stove:
To prevent overheating of the cookware due to the high capacity of induction, please follow
the stove manufacturer's instructions for use. Never leave cookware unattended during heating or heat it
when empty or on high heat. A buzzing noise can arise during use. This noise is due to technical reasons and
is not an indication of a defect in your stove or cookware. Always place the cookware in the centre of the
burner. The pot size should be equal to or larger than the size of the cooking surface because otherwise it is
possible that the cooking surface will not respond to the bottom of the pot.
• To avoid the risk of burns caused by oil boiling over or spitting during deep-frying, always use a high-sided pot
and never fill the pot more than half full with oil. Do not use a lid, and do not overheat. The right deep-frying
temperature is reached when a circle of bubbles forms around the handle of a wooden spoon immediately
after it is dipped into the oil.
10
Pouring rim: contents can be perfectly poured
out or into other containers without spills
and cannot burn on the pot, pan or stove.
Ovenproof: can be used in any oven. Coated
cookware up to 220°C.
The cookware is suitable for dishwashers.
Rounded transition from the base to the side of
the pot or pan: for easy stirring and cleaning, no
sticking in the corners.
Thanks to the matt-polished pot interior, the
cookware is resistant to stains due to water
residue and scratch marks, even when whisks are
used.
