Make a Test Call
Give all Family and Friends Contacts the informa�on sheet “Advice for FirstCall Contacts”.
Let all Contacts know that you are about to test the FirstCall pendant. The first 3 Contacts will receive
text messages and all Contacts may receive a phone call from the pendant.
To ac�vate the alarm - Push the SoS bu�on for more than 3 seconds. The pendant will beep for 15
seconds, and it will then send a text message to each Contact*.
The text messages will say HELP ME! , and include the date and �me of the call, the approximate speed
you are travelling, and the ba�ery charge as a percentage.
The text message sent to the first 3 Contacts will also contain a link to a Google Map. Selec�ng the link
will bring up the pendants GPS loca�on on a Google Map.
Shortly a�er the text messages are sent, the pendant will start to make phone calls to your Contacts,
one at a �me.
Your contacts will hear a voice message asking them to push the 1-key on their phone. If a person
pushes the 1-key on their phone, the pendant will stop calling further Contacts. If they do not push their
1-key, the pendant will hang-up the call and try the next Contact, and so on around all the Contacts.
If any Contacts have a voice mailbox ac�vated on their phone, the pendant will leave the voice message
and then go on to call the next Contact.
* All texts and calls can be cancelled by pressing the cancel bu�on on the side during the 15 second
pre-alarm beep period.
